Place is a nightmare the staff will try and rob you at all costs stay away

STAFF EXTORTING GUESTS FOR PERMITTING VISITS TO COME TO YOUR ROOM. There are no phones in the room and whenever you do have a visit/food delivery you must take two elevators to go downstairs they do this on purpose so they can ask you for money

Palmetto penthouses A+

The property had an amazing view of the beach along with la ciudad amurallada in the back drop. The apartment had all the amenities necessary and Alejandro was a phenomenal host. He even gave us a ride around Bocagrande in his personal vehicle to show us around. This property gives you beach front access along with close proximity to the bars and restaurants. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to enjoy a good vacation in Cartagena.

Great unit, great location, beautiful city and wonderful experience. I would definitely go back.

Great host, very pleasant, knowledgeable and takes excellent care of the property. The building and unit had great views of both the ocean side as well as the bay side. Great location, in Bocagrande and a short bus or taxi ride to the walled city.

Booking.com did not specify which unit was being rented as the owner had 4 units in this building.

Comfortable budget accommodation

Short taxi ride to the Old City and airport. Great view over the ocean from the balcony. Comfortable 2 bed/ 2 bath apartment. Alejandro was very helpful and accessible. Can't go wrong for the price just don't expect 5*.

Was left without a toilet seat for a day/night.

Wonderful experience for a romantic getaway.

The property owner was very helpful and accommodating. The views of the city were spectacular and the balcony in general was very nice.

The mattresses were a little soft for my liking. Other than that the beds were excellent. The people on the beach try to rip you off with everything.

Wonderful, comfortable, amazing view!

Comfortable, clean and roomy. Perfect for two couples. Each bedroom had its own bath.

I liked everything about the property, but bring your own toilet paper because it is not included :-)

Lovely stay with family

Location was fantastic and quiet. Cartagena is wonderful

Communication with the owner was not great. I had to have my Colombian son in law call to get details-twice. He didn't answer my emails. Apartment is a little shabby.

A nice treat!

Security Guards are great. Check in with the genius saved hours of time. Location is excellent. The apartment itself is a nice set up with a nice sized terrace (better than others). The pool is excellent and clean and very fresh (not heated). Food is 5 minutes or less walking distance. You also get a view of the bay in addition to the sea and Old Cartagena.

These are minor, but need consideration: You need to supply your own lighter for the stove, the dryer does not work properly, and many of the outlets in the apartment are not in working condition. The outside terrace lights do not work. There is no ironing board. You need to buy soap. It's apartment rental, but I have rented others that supply toiletries and have everything in immaculate working condition. Sometimes you are not allowed to play music while you are at the pool.

Cartagena - December 2016

Location and views were great. The condo was well equipped and very clean.

Beaches in Cartagena are not as pretty as the typical beach in the Caribbean. Not crystal clear turnips waters and white sand beaches, but the water is warm. Also, I would not venture out on the beach alone- Too many scammers and suspicious people.
